No Ipod Classic update?

I was kinda hoping there would be some refresh/redesign of the Ipod Classic announced at the WWDC. Any rumour about when a new version is out ?
I had an older one before my ipod touch and I miss the capacity but I know the minute I buy one there WILL be a new model/ update lols

Consumer electronics don't really see their updates happening at WWDC. To be honest I wouldn't hold out much hope for the iPod Classic seeing an update, it's clear that Apple's intention is for you to use an iPhone with iTunes Match to overcome any storage limitations on the device. Buy one now if you want one, you aren't going to miss out on a huge update.

WWDC is a developer conference. The keynote is focused on software, they occaisionally chuck in some Mac hardware.

iPods/iPhones and iOS7 will get another event when it's ready to launch in the autumn.
