I do think we will at least see at some AMD mid range and low end cards this year.

Announcements like this sometimes affect when other companies decide to release their products. This might delay 7xxx more now. Hopefully now however!

Any 7xxx card this year is big boost to them.

Also if they can ship the 79xx card they will. Just like they did with the 5xxx cards.

Which ended up giving them a good amount of sales before Fermi launched.
