No keyboard detected???? Help

This has just started recently, ive unplugged everything and put it back in, it would go on a couple times and now it just wont go on at all (the keyboard) but the mouse is doing the same.

A lot of motherboards won't detect a usb mouse or keyboard during boot because a bit of software runs with windows to detect them and in boot it's not run.

The main way around this is using a old PS2 keyboard as they all detect during boot.

as it appears it's more likely a damaged header or something.

What so basically need a new motherboard? I only game so i dont wanna be using a small keyboard
 
i had this recently with my keyboard, there is a fault with the USB socket you are using, I just plugged my keyboard into a different USB socket and it works fine with no error messages as the faulty socket wasn't being used any more

Yep im gunna take ti to the shop across the road from me monday (my keyboard) and try it on their pc

Im getting a overkill pc in january anyway mate so ill have to just make do
