ive been playing it non-vr
i tried the vr option but it felt odd and i need to go back to it. its just i dont have the space for playing the way i want to.
on my to do list to come back to it

apparently it has improved massively recently

about 2months ago. so not long ago.
it wasnt helped by the fact id already played around 10 hrs or so with keyboard mouse so re-learning vr controls wasnt as natural if that makes sense.

vr is great in NMS. the HUD translates really well

SmAuG Mentioned the Mech operations in VR was rubbish due to the first person view being a small slit or something so you have to fiddle with the settings to get it to 3rd person

On topic, NMS vr is one I wished you could just use normal controls with, I hate motion controls, I just want to be able to look around in VR.

Yeah, that's the one thing that I find really annoying. The controls in VR are terrible. Not intuitive at all.

really? i admit I have not played in 18 months but I found them incredibly intuitive.

Just noticed the foveated rendering, will give that a go!

For some reason performance is terrible in this new update for me. Constant reprojection, 30fps!

Yes, performance has tanked. Was running perfectly for me before the update, now is really struggling.
