No Man's Sky

Pffft. You a PC gamer per chance ? They moan about prices all the time it's depressing.

LOL no but it's just too much of an unknown. I just threw £50 down the drain on The Division which was tripe.

I will buy it, I'm sure because the chit-chat on here will be hard to ignore. :p

I also threw money at the division. And can't do the final mission. Screw that game. At least with no mans sky there is no pressure for levelling up or completing this or following this way point. Etc. Free will at its best.

Could be interesting. Hope it has a proper complex economy.

It's just that it rarely happens that two players end up beeing in the same solar system anyway.. just too many of them so I really wouldn't worry about things like that.

Can't you share locations?

So say I sent you coordinates to my location. You could consider meeting me.... Might take a while lol

Yeah, there are definitely ship/drive upgrades to get you travelling further and faster but still no idea of how long it will take even with the fastest.

i'm torn about this. Really want to get it but i do get bored with games easily these days and in many ways this looks like the kind of game that might bore me.

but it also looks totally amazing :D

If it had some kind of Souls like message system that would be cool - or even an internal messaging system only to players whose discoveries you find...

ps3ud0

As long as I can zip around star systems and galaxies that's all I'm interested in. Finding other players is last on my list of stuff to do :D

I hope the moving from different solar systems is not disjointed in any way, Im hoping you can just travel at your own pace to reach other parts of the galaxy without having to use warp speed or the galaxy map to reach other areas.

Might take most of my life away doing it this way though!:D

Sean said you can fly from one star system to another without using any jump/hyper drive. But it'd take a hell of a long time :p literally just using your boosters. The distance between the stars is not disjointed in any way.

I think I'll be naming planets that I visit with a tagine. Like OcUK or something in the off-chance one of you guys might bump into it imagine finding a planet that one of us has visited. It'd be like winning the lottery. :D well..not quite.

Cool to hear that about the travelling between star systems:cool:. It would be so cool bumping into someone on your travels even if it does sound unlikely or visiting an explored planet.

I really hope there are completely desolate planets too, don't recall seeing anything that doesn't have some sort of life on it.
