No monitor signal problem

Hey guys

Not sure why but today after turning on my computer and seeing the boot up screen and windows 8 logo...it ends up with no monitor signal. I've tried removing my graphics card and changing the bios settings to use the integrated one but to no avail. Help?

Pretty sure it isn't. Just tried it with safe mode on integrated graphics black screen :s

I tried removing the card and changed the settings in bios to use the IGFX and changed it to the board hdmi. Tried with card too but both just show the windows8 logo and then a black screen.

Looking for a DVI cable atm

I tried it again with the graphics card and there's just a black screen after logo :/

So you want me to try it without the graphics and one stick only?

So I just tried it again two times like you asked with bios setting change each time of using IGFX. Both times after boot+logo I get the signal loss and end up with a black screen.

I'm not able to that unfortunately

No guesses which component is broken? I can see the CPU stuff in the bios and memory so I guess they are fine. The graphics card powers up fine when plugged in too so I guess my PSU is okay also. Just having problems with connection with integrated or dedicated graphics card

Not sure why I'm having these issues tho as it's been working fine for a few months now. Resolution is 1920x1080p. I'll try plugging it into a tv. Not sure how I'll get to see anything past the boot screen but will reply in a bit

Ah I hope so. So I have the SSD as the main thing with windows on. If I reinstall windows on another HDD will I still have my stuff accessible on the SSD once I get onto the desktop? As long as I don't partition it or anything during setup.

Reinstalled on HDD and then xferred my stuff and now reinstalled on SSD. Seems fine now. Thanks guys. Haven't rebooted yet.

One issue which I forgot to mention was that when I first start my computer the cpu fan spins properly but will start fail spinning...I found that if I turn off/on this stops it and it functions as normal. Any idea?
