No more AMD driver support for Windows 7 ?

@ATiRubyfan was you able to get the last released Adrenalin 21.5.1 AMD driver to work on Windows 7 and what was the stability like?

I had to roll back three Windows 7 driver versions (21.3.2) just to get to control panel to work on a rx 570 and every now and again its janky as the Adrenalin control panel will either not work and/or crash out for no reason. The Crimson Edition AMD drivers work great with no issues.

Getting any issues with Windows 11? I'm planning to move to Windows 10 in the next few days though i did a test run as few weeks ago form a pendrive and although slow it worked fine. (Stupid me didnt think to try it in a VM :mad:)

Hah, I always forget about Win8 entirely.

In my mind, it was 7 -> 10 -> 11.

Did anyone here even go as far as to install Win8 on any system they own? :p

Never installed 8 onto a device but I have a couple of devices which came with 8 as standard.

Sad thing is I have some all singing, all dancing Windows 10 tablets but often end up reaching for my older Windows 8 tablet as it is almost inevitable Windows 10 is going to be ******* around with something when I want to use them while I can rely on the Windows 8 one just to be ready to use.

Kind of funny I hated 8, mostly due to the UI, but MS managed to put out an OS that made it seem almost good in comparison.

Underneath Windows 8 is actually quite good - seems to outperform both 7 and 10 for quickly starting up and general responsiveness when stripped to the bone. But the UI meh - even having modded it to put back in the start menu the UI aesthetics and fragmentation is just tragic.
