No more sunday off peak with VM + early rate capping problem!

Are you certain it's a cap? There could be any number of things that might cause your speed to drop down to 1Mb. Wait it out and see what happens I say.

That is horrible, and I can't even ping www.bbc.co.uk. My download speeds are about 12K/sec max (ok, so faster than 56K, but not much!) I'm on a 5.5mbit connection by the way.
 
I thought something funky was going on. I'm on my parents 2mbit service. They're hardly heavy downloaders but its chugging along at 1mbit down/100kbit up right now. Fortunately the latency is unaffected so I can at least get some TF2 in :D
 
I'm constantly capped, even on the 2MB service. I must admit it's the most woeful DSL service I have ever used. It used to be excellent when we first had it but now... god it's awful.

I've had so many problems with them as well. We moved house and instead of moving the acocunt they made us a new account which meant new 12 month contract and then an immediate extra charge for none direct debit payment even though we were paying by direct debit. To get rid of this we had to pay the first bill then add direct debit to the account. Also because of the postal strikes we didn't get our bill in time and they charged us an admin cost even though we had direct debit at the time. They were going to refund us but never did so that means another phone call to them later.

And since there call centre seems to be in the middle of Islamabad I can't understand half of what they're saying. No disrespect to any ethnic person out there but if I call you from the UK I do expect good English not grunts.
