I'm trying to play Dirt 2 with the sound being played through the Amp, and the video through the TV.
Problem is that when I use the TV for the video, either the Windows Audio or Rapture3D software is preventing multi-channel audio.
I have tested it using the laptop display, and passing the audio to the amping, which works with 7.1 audio. I have also tried duplicating the displays, but that only results in stereo being passed to the amp.
I've also tried some older graphics + HDMI audio drivers, and different audio drivers for my soundcard (just in case it was a problem with that), but nothing.
It seems very strange that it can only pass multichannel when the laptop's display is being used to display the game.
Anybody got a fix for this?
