I need to use safe mode with networking (that's the option I'm choosing in the menu). But for some reason my onboard network adapter doesn't get recognised. It's an Nvidia nforce one. It will recognise a PCI network card but for some reason my wifi bridge refuses to work with that. It will also recognise my PCI wifi card but it can't connect to my network. Any ideas? I wasn't sure which section this was best suited to so it the mods want to move it feel free.

might be just network cards and not wifi, since xp was relesed a long time before wifi was made..
can you live with having the cable in for doing your safemode stuff? -what do you need to do anyway?

Well the problem is it won't recognise my onboard wired network adapter. That's connected to an ethernet-wifi bridge, so as far as windows is concered it's no different to being plugged straight into a router. Don't have a cable long enough to plug it into my router, and it's just way too much trouble to move the PC.bledd. said:
