ok the other day i was talking on this forum about how i just got new rig and it kept restarting, well i gave in a gave it to my friend to have a look at (it's his job) and even though he has built hundreds of computers he has no idea what is wrong (that's after a solid day of studying it)

what am i suppost to do now? i was asking him if he thinks it's the hardware but he could only see it being the mobo but sadly i don't have a spare mobo with ddr/ddr2 and agp/pci-e slots.

what can i do now? is there any types of scans directly designed to test if hardware and faulty and what exact piec of hardware is causing the problems?

cheers

na it's nothing to do with temps sitting on around 35oC

it restarts as soon as i play games (everytime) and just randomly when i'm on windows.

but i don't even think everything is running as fast as it should, takes a wee sec to load some things and it's a freaking brand new core 2 duo like

my guess would be the memory or mobo - but i cancelled out the chances of it being the memory when i tried out some old ddr memory i had and the same still happened

lol it was only a freaking tmp board once i get 100 quid i can get me new graphics card and mobo

there is no way i can test any of these on another computer :(

lol in that time i will have my new mobo lol and will sell that one as brand new...try make some money
