No option in bios to boot from dvd

Hey I have just received my new Samsung 840 evo and am wanting to put a fresh windows install on it. But when I got to bios there is no dvd drive in the boot options to select I have unplugged my other he'd with the windows on and still nothing.
I have the Gigabyte z77x-d3h motherboard.

Does anyone have any ideas?

with my board I can press F8 for a boot menu instead of going in to the bios, see if yours has one or try the same button and see if you get the option then.

if that fails then copy the contents of the DVD to a 8gb usb stick and boot from that

Have you checked your dvd is properly connected, if the bios does'nt detect it, you wont have the option.

I have checked it is connected properly the pc worked fully this morning

that's what I always do, don't even have a DVD drive lol
