No OS found!

I've just bought a bundle of OCUK installed fine BISO booted up fine but when it came to find the OS (XP SP3 32-BIT) it failed to lauch cause it cannot find the OS the HDD are fine and the OS is fine but for some reason the new hardware cannot find the OS please help!

Check the boot order in the BIOS, it may be looking at a different drive.

have you set your hardrive as first boot drive in the bios?

Are you trying to use an old install of XP on the new hardware or have you just installed a fresh copy? As above, check boot priorities in BIOS.

1. boot from your HDD where windows is installed.
2. Keep the windows cd close by because your pc will need to repair itself because of the new hardware. If you have no repair cd you can get it off the official Microsoft website via torrent or you can get another 32 bit computer\laptop to create one.

I did mine via USB since my optical drive fails. Also make sure you boot from the repair disk\usb.

Yes the boot option is my HDD (does display the name) and when to gets passed the biso black screen saying error cant find OS :/

The OS is and old copy from the HDD but always up-to-date

You'll need to do a fresh install. You can't use an old install on new hardware, it almost never works.

you need to do a fresh install it won,t work as it needs to install the right drivers etc for that motherboard.

That's probably your issue. There's a very high chance you'll need a clean install.

Need to do an XP repair but going for Win 7 is a good idea
