Decided to move on from my old EVGA8800GTX and installed a ASUS ENGTX260 TOP SP216.
The mobo Im using is an ASRock K10 N78.
I had already D/L the latest drivers and the install went fine, connected the 2 6pins,connected the DVI,fired up the PC,noticed the hairdryer noise of the 260's cooler;) but.......No picture, nuthin just black screen:confused:
Tried reconnecting,re-seating in PC-IE slot,but still nuthin:confused:
The PSU is a 1000watt job so thats not lacking,so put old card back in and....Its working fine:confused:
Am I missing something or is my 260 duff:(

Try resetting CMOS first. Maybe try flashing to latest BIOS too whilst running the 8800GTX then try the GTX 260.

What's your power supply? Assuming both the 6 pin PCI-E power connectors are in ok?

I got the same problem with my asus gtx260. Bought a new 120hertz monitor connected it up to the dvi out and nothing. Works when I use the hdmi and the old analog port but not the dvi :(

Its a driver related issue as I wound back the drivers to the default windows 7 drivers and it works fine, it just doesnt work with later drivers for some annoying reason.

If it were driver related then I'd still see windows boot up though wouldn't I:confused:
One thing I did notice, the light on the monitor,Samsung Syncmaster T220 flashes when the 260 is in the case, with the old card in its just constant, does that mean there's no signal getting to the monitor??
