I just upgraded my computer with a new motherboard, RAM and CPU (check the signature for specs), however I have come across a strange problem.

At first, it booted fine, and went through the post normally, allowing me to enter the BIOS with no problems.
But now, when I turn on the computer - or restart it - the monitor stays in standby (orange light), and there are no beeps or anything. After a short time, maybe 20 seconds tops, it loads up Windows Vista, and the screen comes on. From then on it act normally.

At the moment, it isn't fantastically important, but if I ever need the BIOS, I won't be able to access it.

What could be the problem?

Edit:: Can't get my sig to work, so I'll post my specs here -

Okay, I think I found the problem, and it's so flipping stupid I could kick myself!

I have my TV and monitor plugged into the PC, so I can watch DVDs etc. on the TV. Anyway, for some unknown reason, I decided to put these 2 plugs into the opposite sockets on my graphics card.

After resetting the CMOS, I tried to boot again. I was greeted with a blank screen and no beeps, so I thought I would turn the TV on and watch it whilst the computer did it's silent boot to windows. Only when I turn the TV on, I am greeted with the POST screen!

Still no beeps coming in, but at least I can now see the BIOS and POST :)
