Wasnt sure where to put this so as it is a barebones base unit im using the in here it goes

I bought an Asus V7-M4A3000E from an online retailer along with an AMD AthlonX2 250 skt AM3 and sccording to the spec of the barebone this CPU is supported.

So I have installed the CPU/Memory/HDD and I get nothing, no post, nothing.

I have tried disconnecting HDD/DVD-ROM etc but still nothing.

Anything else I can try?

Have you tried it outside of the case?

Not yet, but i did manage to find a system speaker to try it without memory and i get the memory error beeps, so looks like it could be the CPU/memory?
