Hi all

I have been running 3 x 1 gb sticks @ 333mhz along with an E2160 at 333mhz.

All worked great with my old 8800GTS 320mb, however when i fitted my new 8800GT the pc wont post.

I just took 1gb out and voila, post... is it my ram configuration thats the problem - ie: it doesnt like flexi mode and 3 sticks but is ok with dual channel?

I havent tried giong to stock yet with the ram and cpu, should i give that a go?

Which motherboard?

It may be something as silly as upping the northbridge voltage a notch or too, or locking the PCI-E Frequency to 101mhz.

Im running it on an ABIT AB9 PRO

I know I havent got the PCI-e frequency set, as i had to do a cmos reset, and you just reminded me it needs doing! lol

Will try the north bridge volt increase if locking the pci-e freq doesnt work.

Ta for the input.

In general, 3 modules on a dual channel MOBO is a bad idea. I realize that it worked with the old card. However, you'd be better served by 2 or 4 matching modules.
