No POST With a 4870 in mobo?

Hi all, I just restarted my pc a few times and my display and post has completely disappeared, i've tried taking out the batttery and nothing, i took the card out and it beeped twice, put it back in and still no post:confused: tried the card in another machine no display still (couldn't check post as it doesn't have a sound cable)

Has the card died? it's less than a week old been working fine for a few hours of gaming this week and all of a sudden after a couple of restarts nothing will display:mad: anyone got any form of solution other than take it back and wait 4 weeks again (had to RMA my last one due to a power core fault)

Edit: Forgot to mention when i try turn it on sometimes the fan will go to 100% and sometimes it won't. No red lights are coming on to indicate something is wrong either.

Great, so that's another 4 week wait, first my ram now the card, got to love the services of a certain company! (those who shall not be named:()
 
This one is a 4870 Sapphire i just got this one back as a replacement for my last one power core failing, now this ones just randomly done similar but isnt giving any indication it's naff, just gives nothing.
 
Hmm, I have a Sapphire 4870 but I've only been using it a day. Give Sapphire an email and say your not happy with it and send it back. You might be lucky, they might give you a better card.
