Any ideas on what would be causing pc not to boot up.
Push power up button and fans just spin for 3-5seconds,post mumbers appear on board and then just goes off.
I have been having issues with my evga board(loss of raid,Poor graphics when sli,lost ide drives)

Have you tried resetting the cmos?

yes have done that,swapped over 8800's as only one will work ok at a time , sli sucks on this board of mine..

Some of those evga boards do appear to be having problems. Have you thought of flashing it with the BFG BIOS?
