No Power to CPU Fan Header?

Hi Guys I've just got a Maximus VIII Hero board and a Corsair H100iGTX and I can't get the CPU fan to be recognized? I've tried re-seating the fan plug in the header, made sure it was set to PWM on the board and tried another PWM fan all together with no luck.

Anyone got any ideas?

I'm hoping the CPU Header isn't DOA...

A PWM header should work with PWM and non-PWM fans, if it isn't working with any fan you plug into it i'm afraid it's dead.

Have you tried looking in the BIOS, to make sure the fan isn't 'disabled'?

No the fan was enabled at the time. I bit the bullet and RMA'ed the board.

It was definately a fault with the board itself as the new replacement cpu fan header is working.

Only problem I now have is I can't get the ram to correctly work at it's rated 2666 without failing to post... :mad:
