Hi

I have a Samsung SM2032BW - it does not have reflections and can be used right next to the window. We need to buy another monitor for use right next to window.

The guy I sit next to just got a HP 24" - sunlight causes problems with many reflections.

Are all Samsungs like this or is there a feature I need to look for?

depends on the coating used for the screen really. Anything with a glossy coating will cause you problems (like the NEC 20WGX2, of Xerox's range for example). Most screens have an anti reflective coating (AR), so should be fine really. they can vary slightly, but if in doubt, get another Samsung :)

Glossy screens are quite rare. I would estimate at least 95% of screens on the market are not glossy, so reflections are rarely an issue. However, if you're like me and absolutely LOVE a glossy screen, you just move your room about so glare isn't a problem. AFAIK, OCUK don't stock a single glossy screen so pretty much anything you choose should be fine. Just check the reviews of whatever you want to get and you'll be reet.
