Having a debate at work...

Say you have a number of different streets (lets say A Street, B Street and C Street). All of which have marked parking bays (dashed boxes big enough for between 2 and 10 cars, not individual bays) on the road with signs saying "Mon-Fri 9am-5pm 90mins No return within 90mins".

Can you park on A Street for 90 mins, then move the car to B Street for 90mins, then move to C Street for 90 mins, then back to A Street etc....?

Can you park at one end of A Street for 90 mins then move to the other end of A Street (lets say on the other side of the road, in a different bay)?

The signs are exactly the same. It's free parking not paid so no displaying tickets etc.

Is there any actual authority on this?

Literally the first result on Google says you can't park within the same space. That isn't exactly helpful when the subject isn't individual spaces.

Seeing as the wardens enter in the reg first time round then again second time round, but would only take photos the second time round when exceeding the 90 min limit, even if your car had moved they'd surely ticket it?

Plus, since when is gocompare.com suitable authority on parking restrictions? :o

Or just park there for however long you want because parking wardens are like hens teeth and when they first see your car they don't know how long it has been there etc and they aren't going to note the time and reg of every single car.

I've worked on that theory in Worthing for years and never got a ticket.

I see multiple parking wardens a day so I will happily disregard your advice :)

Noting the time and reg of every single car is exactly what they do on their hand held devices. It appears to be such an easy process that they can do it at a constant slow walking pace.
