Hello, slight disaster here.

I downloaded windows blinds earlier, after opening it i preceeded to pick a new theme. As soon as it started to load the theme it completely knackered my computer. None of the toolbars/windows can be seen and windows is just running about 10,000 times slower than normal trying to display this new theme. So slow i can't actually do anything to stop it.

I've tried rebooting but it just tries to load the theme every time i log on making it impossible to stop it/uninstall it.

I then thought i could maybe start in safe mode and uninstall it from there! BUT i cant get to the boot menu. I've tried google and all the links say to tap F8 when your computer is starting to access the windows XP boot screen but it never appears if i continually tap it from the memory check all the way to Windows XP logo with the blue bar going along the bottom. This is very strange!

I've tried 2 different keyboards so i know its not that. Am i completely screwed or is there a solution?

Anyone got any ideas at all?

Thanks in advance for any help at all!!!

Hmm interesting F5 didnt work, ill try all the F-Keys in turn and then update :) thanks for the quick reply.

wow after trying every F-key, it turns out it was F5. By holding down the button I was more successful than tapping it over and over.

Thanks for the help folks
