Hi guys, need some urgent help... have just installed my new gtx 970 and am not getting any signal from it.

I've also noticed that after initial start up the rear fan stops spinning, does this mean I got a duff card?

Please help!

What card is it, perhaps it is one that is designed to run its fans at 0rpm at idle?

Have you plugged both power connectors into it?

What is the full system spec so the guessing is less reduced.

Hi Stulid, its the kfa2 ex oc black edition...

Not sure on the sandybridge processor or mobo but I'm using 8gb of ram, 250gb ssd, blue ray optical drive, 2 tb storage drive and a 750w gold edition psu by superflower

Being sandybrige it could well be that the board needs an update to its BIOS to recognise the card.

Yeah have plugged in both power connectors, and updated the bios a few months back, have tried different cable combinations, using two separate power cables, one 6 and one 8, have tried it with the moles adapters that come with the card.

Does it look like the PC is running in the back round as normal?

What are you using to connect to your monitor?

Everything else seems to be running fine, that I can tell from having a blank screen.... no beeps or anything like that...

my monitor only has a hdmi and rgb in.... so am using the hdmi port

Check there is not another BIOS update thats more recent, if its Gigabyte board then beta BIOSes are available at the tweaktown forum.

Its an asus sabretooth x79 according to my friend who gave it to me...

No way of trying it in another pc...

It's a utility that allows you to utilise the new file structure of the updates.....

That installed fine, and I flashed my bios with the current version and now I can't get into Windows... If I try to access the bios it hangs, if I don't I just get a blank screen....
