I have just bought a new mobo this morning and i have taken all my components out of the old mobo and put them in the new one. when i boot the pc i get a no signal messege on my monitor
my pc spec is as follows

Mobo - Asus A8N32 Sli Deluxe
CPU - AMD X2 4400+
GFX - 8800gts oc2 640mb
Ram - 2x 1gig crucial ballistics PC4000
power supply - Enermax Noisetaker 600W

everthing was working in my old motherboard (A8N sli Deluxe) till the chipset fan broke and i accidently broke the chipset taking the fan off
so my questions are
1. Is the mobo 100% compatible with this gfx card i have been told it is just wanted to make sure
2. i have tried another gfx card in the mobo a 7800gtx 256mb so im thinking it could be my power supply but im not sure, im i right in thinking that or not

I have tried the following things
clearing bios (did the jumper and removed battery)
Tried different gfx card and monitor
i have tried building inside and outside of case
i have tried 1 component @ a time listening to post beeps (i only get a beep if i remove the ram, no bleep if i take the gfx card out)

Firstly, remove all ram and power on, do you get any beeps,if not, remove the vga card and try again, if not then Build the system outside of the case, it maybe a short against the case.

Make sure ALL power leads are connected to the mobo...then check again....then again. I have missed this twice in the past. I'm a clown

do i need the standard molex connection for SLI connected aswell as the one for 4 pin one for the CPU or is that only needed if i have 2 gfx cards

yeah, if i take my cpu and ram out no beep it i put my cpu and no ram i get 1 beep then a pause then 2 beeps according to here that means Video error (reseat or replace video card)
if i have cpu and ram no beeps, during all this i have left my gfx card in then i did it all again without gfx card but still nothing

does it sound like a dodgy mobo or not??

yeah everthing is connected,

so far i have made sure everthing is connected
cleared bios with jumper and even takenthe battery out
rebuilt system outside of case
just tried gfx card on its own
tried gfx card and ram
tried gfx ram and cpu
tried gfx and cpu but got bleeps
made sure all connections connected again
tried a different gfx card
tried a different monitor

so im thinking its now either my psu or mobo i dont think its the mobo casue the light is coming on and the mobo seem to be working (seeing ram and cpu bleeping if ram is missing) but then again if its working it means the psu is working doesnt it?
