No signal on screen :(

Hi,

I completed my build (in sig) yesterday and it was working fine.

Im trying to install another sata hdd.
Basically, I accidently removed the plastic part of the sata connection on the motherboard, so the pins are out and i cant plug my original hdd into it (sata 1).
So I moved it to sata 3 and the new hdd into sata 4 on the motherboard.

Now the problem is, the computer loads, but on the screen it says no signal found?

I've cleared cmos a couple of times but no luck. Im in the process of trying to fix the plastic part on the sata 1 port of the motherboard.

As I originally had my hdd in sata 1, does it matter if its now in sata 3? - or is this the problem?

Any help guys?

Thanks

Graphics card or adapter monitor connects to. No signal is usually always them, as no signla means jsut that. The computer is running, it's just not transmitting to the monitor. It wouldn't be the hard-drive, it has no effect on that.

Ok I'll try a different monitor and check the gfx etc.

But does it matter if I change the the hdd from sata 1 to sata 3?

Thanks

You need a new Pikachu to power the monitor.

lol.

I found the no signal when i used the VGA-DVI connector, it works now, think it was just broke. Or when the graphcis card weren't in fully.
