Hi everyone,
My Set up:
Motherboard: Msi z68a gd65 (b3) (all updated)
Powersupply Cooler Master GX 650W (bought from over clockers)
Corsair Vengeance Blue 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3
Intel Core i7-2600K 3.40GHz (Sandybridge)
Recently had graphic card issues - getting a no signal error. Two graphic cards don't work, in any slot - Nvidia Geforce 8800 gts (which did work up until recently) and a new card I bought Radeon hd7870. I've not been able to test the 8800 gts in my brothers computer but we tried the new one and it works - albiet there are artifacts (so will return however I don't want the same issue again). My brothers power supply Unit is the OCZ 600W
I know it's not a power issue in the sense that it should be powerful enough. I'm currently using the pci slot with a geforce 6800 gs - no problems. Is it in your opinion, the power supplys? I've re-seated the ram. There's no problems there. If there was a fault with the motherboard, would any graphic work at all in that slot?
