I cancelled Sky because it was getting ridiculous for the money and I get a great deal with my BT TV. So today I thought lets add Sky Sports 1/2 for a couple of months. Rang up to get it added and turns out I cant have it because I have two YouView Boxes. It does not say this on the Sky Sports page its tucked away on another page.
Well miffed off about this. We really need two boxes because the kids watch loads of stuff in the Dining Room and the other box is our main one in the living room. I was told only way to get it would be to cancel second box.
This is really ridiculous. Does anyone know the reason ? Is it Sky blocking it for some reason ? Just dont get the difference because I have two boxes should NOT make it possible.
Stupid Stupid Stupid. I am almost contemplating going back to Sky just for this BT are losing out.
I think I will just go with the new 720p NowTV Box coming out this month for Sky Sports and guess who owns NowTV!
Just a pig you can not record a show from NowTV.
To top it all they have royally screwed up my BT Sport transfer from Sky to BT TV. I get SD BT Sports but BT Sports HD says I am not subscribed. The order has disappeared from My BT yet when I try to change something as a test on my account it says I cant as I have an order pending. This is from 25th July!
Sorry just had to rant after getting off the phone to them.
I could cancel one box and get a normal cheap freeview HDR box for the Dining Room I suppose.
