Why don't nvidia include SLI connectors with cards??

Unbelievable, I've got like 12 crossfire connectors here but can I find a single SLI connector? No!

So annoying!

They come with the motherboards.

Although my cards came with some extra long flexible ones too.

I bought the motherboard years ago, I've got no chance of finding that now.

After another search I now have a total of 17 crossfire connectors and a very old inflexable SLI connector which is completely useless.

Why are manufactures so tight not to include them with nvidia cards yet you get one with every ATI card...:mad::mad:

I give in, grand total of 19 Crossfire connectors, 1 old inflexible SLI connector.

You would think I buy allot more ATI cards but I don't. :/

Anyone wanna trade? lol

Then again, my old card (an MSi R6850 OC) didn't come with a Crossfire bridge but my motherboard came with an SLI bridge (but my current card did come with a Crossfire bridge).

What motherboard is it shocky? If you cant source one, ive got a spare flexible one from an asus p8 z77 pro that your welcome to. The asus ones all seem to be a standard size, as it matches a solid one i got with an s939 board some years back. Also the same size as the ones fom my p6t deluxe v2 and p6 x58 de x58 chipset mobos.

You can't blame the manufactures just because you lost the SLI bridge that came with the motherboard...

The reason they only come included with the motherboards is because of the different GPU spacing gaps between different motherboards..
Plus some motherboards support tri & quad setups which would also be another one or two SLI bridges..

i think we all have a little box somewhere full of crossfire bridges. and we keep them thinking we'll need them but alas, they sit unused xD

Think about it. 1 motherboard will usually only ever need 1 SLI connector. Some won't use theirs, they get sold to those who need 2 connectors. Even if everyone went for tri-SLI and a flexy bridge came with each card there'd always be at least 1 spare connector. Distribute as little as 10-15K cards and you're looking at a possibly 1/3 of a million £ wasted!!! (if you were going quad you'd get one of the longer, hard bridges)

Shocky, I have a rigid one, came with my Extreme 4 Gen 3 board, sitting in my spares box.

Will never be used, going free if it's any used.
