No SLI for vr?

I ask as I'm about to put a build together and SLI motherboards are for expensive.

Do you think v2 Vive and rift will support SLI?

In know Nvidia were working on VR SLi, card working each screen. But they have also have a single card that venders both screens at a single path to increase frame rate.

Who knows when companies will use it or if it's been developed for release

Is it all down to Nvidia working out the logistics of splitting up and powering both lenses?, Or does the headset hardware play a part,?

You are best off getting a Titan-X and watercooling it than getting a pair of 1080s.

I would wait until VR looks and plays better, currently the graphics are from the 90s at best and you can't even walk about, rather you have to teleport. It is pretty crap tbh, I bought it and took it back, thought it was awful.
