Hi all,
my brother has just lost the sound on his PC. Just happeneed last nihgt and nothing was insatlled or changed. The strange thing is that when logging on the windows theme plays but when trying to play an mp3 or vidio file nothing. I have tried through a couple of programs but none work so it isn't a problem with this.
Is currently using kx drivers which I have just reinstalled to no avail. soundcard is SB live 5.1 and am just away to try creative drivers.
Any thoughts on what could be causing this. Your advice would be much appreciated.
