No Sound In COD WAW?

Since the patch I dont have sound. I have sound in every other game.

Only thing I have changed in sound setting (which I have not tried but cant think it would be an issue) is enable DTS (for when i go from game mode to entertainment)

Any ideas chaps?

Go to your windows sound setup and set your bitrate to 16bit 48000Hz (down from 24bit 48000hz) ... sucks, but thems the breaks

Is this something that's just recently changed? Cos It always used to work.

Yes, was since 1.2. Afaik Treyarch have no intention of fixing this quickly if ever, but I guess doesn't hurt to cross your fingers for 1.3.

Its pathetic IMO. How much money do you think they made off this game, and they cant even release a small patch to fix a problem they created?
