Not sure what's up, I started EvE & stareted doing stuff that should make noise, but there was none. So thinking EvE was skrewed up somehow, I went online to youtube, played a vid. volume all the way up not a sound. So it isn't muted in the volume control. I check Dev. manger, no yellow marks on sound devices. Then I boot up to Mint 10, I have sound. I had sound before I booted to windows from Mint 10 also. I have a nForce 650i ultra.

Is your sound device appearing in the Sound app, in control Panel? (if it is, then make sure its also the default device) If its Windows 7 then click on the Sound icon in the Taskbar, click on mixer and make sure stuff like System Sounds etc is set to full.

Yes, it did work in windows a few days ago also, the system was moved. It is working in Linux though, so that isn't it.

I tried deleting Realtec HD audio from the dev. manager, uninstalling the driver & Reinstalling, no luck. Wonder if it is time to reinstall? Sure is a pain to do that. :(
