No sound through sites, could it be my router?

Hi,

I got my new router this morning and when I tried listerning to the radio on the net I cannot get any sound but I can still play normal music thats on my pc.

Could it be my router thats is stopping it or is something like the firewall/anitvirus?

so it plays fine via realplayer or whatever but you cant hear it?
as in the realplayer loads the radio 1 say, and its moving along buffering but you cant hear diddly squat?
i'd have said its your pc's sound settings or something if thats the case. either that or you need a codec perhaps

When I listern to the radio, it comes up in its own little internet box, playing but with no sound. When I play an audio file thats on my computer I get sound and all my sound settings are ok, nothing to suggest no sound.

So its either router or my firewall or antivirus software.

But im asking can a router do this?
