No sound when connected via HDMI

HI all,

I am hoping someone can help. I have an issue in that when i connect my PC to my TV via HDMI, The sound still comes out of the PC, I am running Nvidia Geforce GTX 650 cards on windows 10. Hope someone can help.

Have you tried right clicking on the speaker icon in the system tray. Choose "playback devices". Select HDMI from the list of playback devices.

I've been caught out by that a few times as well. Today at work being a prime example, blasting Lync through the PC speaker rather than the headset
