no sound

i upgraded my toshiba satellite p100 laptop
to wins 7 64 bit from vista h p 32 bit
now i dont have any sound tried toshiba drivers.
not supported and win 7 dont (work sound drivers)
any help please?

yes tried to download 64 bit drivers
tried realtek vista/win7.
also coneextant h d
but none have worked

Are you sure its by realtek and not others? Also go to device manager and under audio devices, select update drivers. Also have you checked that the volume control knob on the side/front isnt turned down?

yes done all that ,funny thing is i pluged in an usb set of
speakers and i have sound

USB Audio is separate to your on-board sound controller.

That happened to me when updating my realtek drivers to win 7 - just did it again and bingo
