hey guys im really stuck on this one, been trying to get the AISuite to run on vista 32bit, so i flashed the latest bios, installed all the latest drivers and versions of AISuite and PC ProbeII for my asus p5e, and also got orthos, core temp and speed fan.

AISuite still stops responding as soon as it starts (some things like cpu monitor are unclassified by windows defender instead of being permitted so could this be causing it to crash?)

also now i cant get any temp readings (see pic below), they just stay static and dont change (core temp didnt work before, was still 35, but probe and speedfan changed and so did bios), i even checked in the bois after a short orthos run but they dont change in the bios either :( please help me as i have no clue about what to do.

ok ill give that a try, well i think the mobo sensor is still working as that changes after about 30seconds of different fan settings. but in the biso the cpu stays on 21.5 and doesnt even flicker.
however i have just run orthos for 2 hours and on speed fan theres been a few flickers up to 23 degrees.... could this be possible? mobo is at 25 degrees, and i am using a TR 120 extreme with a 1600rpm fan, could it just be keeping it constantly cool even under load?

my mate suggested that i do a mild overclock to see if that would raise the temps, just incase it was the HSF being efficient.... and now running the E8400@ 3.6GHz and orthos blend and now the cpu temp is rising and actually changing, its gone up to 32/33 degrees, does that sound about right for this setup?

is this right or is something wrong, cos i would like to go above 4GHz but I'm worried that if the temps arnt right ill kill eveything :s

EDIT: just read that sometimes core temp wont respond till over a certain temp.... so now with probe and speed fan both saying 32 degrees.. coretemp is reporting 44 or 45 in both cores..
what should i believe?
