I purchased the following for a budget home pc build.

AMD Llano A6 A3500 2.1GHz Socket FM1 3MB L2 Cache
Gigabyte GA-A55M-DS2 A55 AMD FM1
hypertech 4GB DDR3 1333MHz
500W 20+4pin SATA 80mm Fan PSU
Hitachi 500GB DESKSTAR 3.5" SATA-III

All this was bought to run it with onboard graphics.

Originally I had an Asus F1A55-M which had no display as well, and after doing checks assumed the motherboard was fualty as a few people online had the same issues.

I installed the gigabyte board and still the same no display from the d-sub.

On a dedicated card there is display and I can change all the settings in the bios but I still don't get display from the onboard graphics.

what should I check?

It is just strange as it is a brand new cpu. I'll get onto tech support and see what they think before i return it.

Anyone other suggestions in the meantime?
