Is the option in the BIOS set to "on-board" for the graphics. It may have been changed, hence no output. Try resetting the CMOS to load up default settings.

How can i do that if i can't get a picture?

Checked all the cables (wiggling sometimes helps if its an old computer)? Tried the vga cable in a different socket (some onboard graphics have dvi & vga outs). Stick an old graphics card in and see if it boots?

Does the computer seem to be booting (ie, keyboard lights up, harddrive spin up and start loading somethign) or does it just sit there doing nothing?

To reset the CMOS you move the jumper on the mobo. Hopefully, when you then move the jumper back and power on the PC, it will bring the BIOS and the screen up correctly. :)
