Just gone to my mates and his computer hasn't been working for a few months and a few noddies have had a go at "fixing" it.

It now powers on and I have updated the bios to latest with the usb flash option but still no video and it doesn't look like it is going through the boot process. Flashing blue lights on diag_cpu and the rest of the diag_ lights. system speaker connected it myself no sounds at boot.

Cpu fan is powered by a molex (done a shady way by someone) and doesn't go into the board although I've tried using another fan with fan speed sensors and plugged it into the board where the cpu fan goes and still wont boot.

CPU power plugged in
Motherboard Plugged in
GFX card if plugged in both plugs wont power on plugged in just one plug powers on but still same problems as above
Tried alternative gfx that is 100% working same problem

I've took everything out of the case. Reseated everything re cabled everything and left out of the case.

Now just 1 stick of ram 1 gfx card 1 cpu. Nothing else plugged in.

System powers on as stated above all LED's flash and then stays powered on. but no video output. LEDs continue flashing.

I'd appreciate any input on this, Spec below.

mobo: asus P9X79WS
ram: Corsair Dominator 16gb
Gfx card: Geforce 570GS
CPU: i7 3.3ghz not sure about it didn't write it down when i reseated it.
1000w PSU (tested with PSU Tester)
watercooler for CPU: Corsair Hydro H60

Any help appreciated :D

oh the dreaded bent intel pins, if they are indeed bent i had to do it once best thing i found was a credit card and the knife point from a small swiss pen knife worked wonders.

on amd how ever just a credit card is fine on them, it does amaze me though how much stick those pins can take

Try the integrated graphics, also if you haven't, use the other stick of RAM. Otherwise I'm guessing it's the motherboard.
