No video output

Hi

Ive just finished building my new pc but when i start it up there is no video output and about 10 seconds after starting it up there is 8 short beeps. Not got a clue what to do

Any help

MSI P67A-GD55 Intel P67 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard
Asus GeForce GTX 460 Direct CU TOP 768MB GDDR5 PCI
GeIL 8GB DDR3 PC3-12800C9 1600MHz VALUE PLUS Dual Channel

Check the memory are in the correct slots.

Double check all power connections are in including the 8 pin for cpu power and gpu.
Also do a CMOS reset.

I would suggest you double check the 4+4 pin CPU connector which plugs into the motherboard, also check the GPU has the PCI-E power connector plugged in correctly, and thirdly as already advised a BIOS reset.

ah thats sorted that out now but theres 3 beeps now then it runs fine and when i check how much ram i have it says 8.00 gb (2.99 gb usable)
