Just got home, excitedly tore open the box to my new 4670 and realised there are no wires :( Are there supposed to be any?

no wires

What wires do you want? It shouldn't come with any. Video cables are the responsibility of the monitor manufacturer, HDMI audio isn't a problem on ATi cards and the card doesn't require a PCI-E power cable.

I know nothing about cards just saying it looks a bit empty :p so I shuld hopefully already have the wires I need powering my current card?

just plug it into your motherboards pci-E x16 slot and then connect ur wire from your monitor to it, then fire it up and install your drivers

What "wires" were you hoping for? If you were hoping for power connectors, then no - you don't need any. If you were expecting HDMI cable, no you would get any with a card like this. Don't think it would provide component either as it has a HDMI output.

Having trouble finding how to uninstall my nVidia drivers now, I can get the control panel but don't know how to remove them :s

control panel/ add and remove programs/ nvidia drivers then just click uninstall

be better off getting "driver cleaner" to, to make sure everything to do with nvidia is off your computer, google it.think its on guru3d.com

Quick question, how do I find out if I have 64 bit xp, the graphics card is asking for the 'ATI function Driver for High Definition Sound'
