Thought this was worth a heads-up for the gaming forum
Gaming journalist Danny O'Dwyer left his Gamespot job to go freelance a few months back and wanted to fund high quality gaming documentaries via Patreon.
He's raised a, pretty impressive, Patreon income of around $22k per month and has put it to good use, with a few documentaries already on the Noclip youtube channel.

First up was Rocket League:
Part two:
Next was Doom:
Part two:
Part three:
He's also done a John Romero profile, and a 'Rediscovering Mystery' doc. Not watched those yet.
Worth checking out though - they're really good. (Especially enjoy the bits interviewing Hugo from id software in the Doom doc - an engaging guy)
