Noctua adapters

Looks like the older D14, but I've never owned one so can't be certain, but the rounded corners of the fins on the two towers vs the more square ones on the D15 would suggest D14. Unless if there was an older dual tower cooler from Noctua that I'm not aware of.

Looking at the Product page I would have said a D14. The D14 had 2 different size fans, the D15 has 2 fans the same size. If the OP is looking to get a free mounting kit for an upgrade to AM5/LGA1700/1851, then proof of purchase would be required by Noctua.

In passing, I am not sure that is a noctua fan on the right. It's not a good idea to put a random fan in there.
Why not?

(Ignoring the whole 2 fans is not twice as good, mixing brands isn't going to matter too much - more airflow is still more airflow)

Because there are two fans in series so they have been balanced by Noctua to compliment each other. A random fan may adversely affect the cooling.

Adaptors arrived I got the two ( ) brackets plus the two that have the screw/spring, that fit onto the large HSF with tiny 2 x 2 screws.

I've replaced them as well, although the stock supplied ones that fit down appear to match, best to change them because if they're in the kit probably a reason why

The D14 only has DC fans so you'd probably want to swap them for PWM anyway. It would cost the same to buy a whole brand new Thermaltake phantom spirit cooler (around £30 last time I looked) than 2 noctua pwm fans
