Noctua cpu cooler

Should I have the fan blowing through the cooler, or sucking the heat out towards the rear fan? (heatsink is vertical)

Which model do you have?

If you only have 1 fan make sure its pushing air through.

ok - there's only 1 fan and it's an older model (can't check it atm)

I'll buy another fan if it's worth it

I dont suppose its the Noctua NH U12P SE2 by any chance is it? I know they released that ages ago with one fan initially.

Adding a second fan should lower temps another 2-5c. So it helps.

What system do you have? And what temps are you getting with that cooler?

I started a thread just belows yours re that same cooler.
