Noctua F12 PWM not starting

Hi all,

Bought some second hand Noctua F12's recently, they've arrived and work I noticed one doesn't spin up at low PWM % in Speedfan. One sits at 27% happily and starts fine, the other won't start at anything under 40%. Once it's started, it'll go down to 35% but no lower (it'll stop spinning below this value).

Both fans are connected to the motherboards sys_fan1 and sys_fan2 and I've tried swapping them around with no joy!

Would this be a fan issue?

It sounds like it, the fact you swapped the fan headers over pretty much rules everything else but difference in fans.

Thank you! I tried them on my phobya fan controller too, one definitely doesn't spin unless its above 40% PWM so I'll try and get it RMA'd.
