Noctua fan extensions

I notice that the cables on the 80mm Noctua case fans are way too short & need to get some extensions. I'm going with a black-look & have the Chromax fans.

There are 2 different Black fan extension parts. The regular & (black) Chromax. They both look the same to me, but the packaging is different. Are they the same?

Scrub that. The regular are braided cables, the chromax are sleeved.

Check your motherboard box as well. They obviously won't be Noctua but may match. I only noticed after buying an extension cable that I already had one.

Yup check. But they're not long enough for me to do a neat job.
