Noctua NF-S12A PWM Faulty?

does this sound like a faulty fan ?

sounds liker a jet Engine in the video, but its not lol

Took the fan out and noticed i installed in wrongly :/

much quieter now, but why would that make a difference in sound?

couldn't see any obstructions

took the fan off, its a nice clean build, nothing in the way at all

Possibly noisy because it's fighting against the airflow from the fan on the cooler in front of it.
