Noctua NH-D14 Dual Radiator CPU Cooler Question

it fits in my CM 690 (213mm) so I'm sure it will.

but be warned though. it's a huge cooler and it might block your ram sticks. It blocks 2 of my dominators so I had to remove their disipators. make sure you can do that with your patriot sticks

The Venomous X comes after the DH-14 in terms of cooling then the Megahalems. Can't go wrong with either, probably a few degrees between all three and imo the best cpu coolers out atm.

The Armageddon is more for low noise then top performance.

The Prolimatech Megahalems is well known as a great performer

well, I was wondering if it could fit the Antec 902 case. Anyone got one of these in a 902? I've got an NH-U12P in an Antec 902 on another build but I've read that the 14 can block your ram sticks and/or mosfets?
For reference I'll be using a Gigabyte UD5 mobo.

overall:

Venomous X > D14 > Megahalems

Venomous X wins because it's comparatively tiny and it performs well when high voltages are involved

Megahalems is consistantly the best cooler we have seen in OcUK Tech.

the VenX was ok but when all said and done, an air cooler is an air cooler.

any of the ones mentioned will sort an i7 out up to 4.2

Thanks for reply again, i will prob buy the Megahalems seems a very cheap price compared to the Noctua aswell.

After reading reviews it seems the Megahalems is a right pain to fit mind

Prolimatech Megahalems or Thermalright Venomous-X

Both are the best air-coolers out there (excluding the bulky NH-D14). You need a good fan or two with them though.

I used the Noctua in the FT02 but using a Corsair psu the fit was so tight i couldn't get the second fan insalled correctly and it was rubbing against the psu so went with the VX instead- old setup here.

Maybe it was the layout of the motherboard
