Looks like a good performer, although a massive and expensive beast of a cooler.

I was just about to post this! :p

It does look pretty amazing, motherboard designers are going to have to start moving the RAM about though. :(

Big ass cooler, worried it might smash through the mobo with its size.

Amazing cooling though, it does rival watercooling I have to say.

It's way to big imo, I saw someone with this fitted to an X58 board, and it looked like it was blocking 2 maybe 3 DIMM slots, well, this would have only been a problem if you use RAM with tall heatsinks like the Patriot Vipers, Corsair Dominators etc etc..

Definitely far to big to be practical for anyone with higher profile ram sticks, i can get away with a TRUE with dual 25mm fans and still occupy all ram slots with the ocz reapers im using, cooling is prety good too, using a pair of 400-1200 rpm pwm fans, temps at 4ghz reach, 73-69-69-67.

It does seem really weird that they didn't use the TRUE or Megahalems in their comparison tests..

The TRUE is definitely my favourite air cooler, it's a huge cooler itself, but at least it doesn't overhang more than 1 DIMM slot.

Also, I think coolers like this noctua look ugly, they are just to big imo.

Im not sure about other x58 boards, but the great thing about the TRUE for me is that it doesnt block any DIMM slots on my p6t deluxe, though ill always be limited to standard 25mm diameter 120mm fans.
